Stilfserjoch/Stelvio National Park
Established in 1935 for the purpose of protecting the flora, providing the fauna with a better foundation for survival, and to conserve and promote the special geological formations and natural beauty of the region. The National Park currently encompasses an area of 134,620 hectares (approx. 525 square miles). Guided tours are available.
